Erosion Control, Land Reclamation & Flow Diversion
TERRA-GEN™ allows for steeper slope angles to be built by providing protection from erosion and sedimentation, while it restores and rebuilds a land mass.
TERRA-GEN™ is ideal for flow design application. Its sedimental erosion control ability combined with designing the modular system to reduce and/or redirect the flow of water resulting in detaining certain particles or redirecting unwanted water to a specific location.

Waterways:
Can be used for drainage channels, ponds, rivers, marsh waterfronts. Easy to permit, transport, and install, without the need for heavy machinery or dredging of flotation/access canals which disrupts and destroys surrounding marsh areas. Engineered for over 20 fps flow velocity and 3 feet of wave height.
Marsh Creation:
We remain structurally stable while serving as a contained spoil platform for indigenous vegetative growth and retention of deposited sediment.
Habitat Restoration:
In addition to the benefits of revegetation, we eliminate the need for a hard and hot surface, which adversely impacts our ecological system. We actually rebuild a habitat upon installation.
Structural Green Construction
TERRA-GEN™ allows for structural green construction projects, including culvert head walls, trails, road repairs, roadside slope repairs, ditch linings, dikes, sound walls & garden walls. TERRA-GEN™ can be utilized for stabilization and support of trees and exposed roots and other washout damage.
TERRA-GEN’s ability to mimic existing contours, adapt to seismic activity and differential settlement as well as perform on soft or low bearing soil positions, make this system the best in its category. This soft flexible system can adapt to a wide range of applications.
Undermining of highways by erosion leads to traffic delays and expensive repairs. Drainage ditches along roads and property lines are susceptible to erosion. TERRA-GEN™ provides protection and prevents loss of property without the use of hard materials.
A solution that can be transported and installed in work sites with limited access. No footings or added drainage is needed.
Landscaping
Engineered vegetated walls and slopes have been desired for ages. The challenge has always been the stability of soils placed steeper than the natural angle of repose.
The TERRA-GEN™ system allows the root system to penetrate through both the front and back layer of geotextile as well as grow into the backfill.
In addition, vegetation options such as pre-seeding for near or in water applications, hydro seeding, live planting, live stacking as well as brush layering can be utilized with TERRA-GEN™.
Native vegetation and woody plants can penetrate several feet of embedment and backfill.
